Community Planning
Nithsdale CVS is a signed up partner to the Community Planning process in Dumfries and Galloway. The three main priorities of Community Planning are:

Nithsdale Local Rural Partnership is designed to deliver more'bottom up' input into the Community Planning process. Nithsdale CVS is the voluntary sector representative on the Nithsdale Local Rural Partnership Joint Officer Group and chairs the Inclusive Communities Sub Group. Dumfries and Galloway Federation of Councils of Voluntary Service
(DGFCVS)
The Federation of Councils of Voluntary Service (DGFCVS) is a partnership between four Councils of Voluntary Service (CVSs) which operate across Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland:
The Federation is a strategic response to the formation of a unified Local Authority and to maximise the benefits of sharing experience and working collectively.
South of Scotland European Partnership (SoSEP)
This partnership oversees the allocation and management of funds from the European Regional Development Fund, Objective 2. This fund is directed at economic regeneration of the South of Scotland, in terms of Competitive Enterprises, Area regeneration, and people and Communities.
